There are 200-450 known versions in English.
There are around 50 main versions currently in print
Doesn't this make you wonder why there are so many versions when there is
ONE JESUS?
There are many reasons for the different versions.
Some of those reasons are good, but some/most are not good at all!

Not-So-Good Translations
NKJV - ESV - NLT - NIV - AMP - NASB - ASV
The NIV removes 66 verses, DELETED!
All things that JESUS said!
The ESV twists some verses, so they no longer reflect the actual meaning
The NKJV disregards the RECEIVED TEXT
(Textus Receptus) 1200 times
The KJV and GBV has their basis in the RECEIVED TEXT
They are good choices.....
The Douay-Rheims bible is a Catholic Version and its basis is in the the Latin Vulgate. Original text that was expanded to make it state what they wanted.
It might not relate to reality!
